I love BNI! I've been a member for over 20 years, pass an average of 10+ referrals a week and I can trace back about $6,000 a month of my income from the referrals I've received from our chapter. I'm a property manager so I get a percentage of the rental rate. If someone offered me $100,000 for my seat I would not sell it!
