My husband joined BNI in April of 2007. We were so successful, I was able to leave my corporate job to work my holistic pet food business full time. But there was a catch...I had to take over the BNI spot each week. I didn't like speaking in front of people, but I quickly grew to love the group and became MI Metro Novi's President 6 months later. I am now serving a 2nd term being the VP and see that my speaking skills have grown and my business more than tripled since the beginning. I have 3 other reps in chapters locally and 3 others throughout the country.

In August 2010, my husband passed away, so I was left to run this business myself, but I wasn't alone. The help and encouragement that I received from my BNI chapter was priceless. Many have become life long friends. I am very thankful for BNI and how it has effected my life.
