On Wednesday, March 14, 2012, Glenn Holsborg, president of BNI Business Exchange, presented ribbons commemorating members’ length of membership in the chapter. Chapter director in India.
“No problem. The show must go on!”
And so it did. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology (Skype to be precise), Bob Hulstrom, the chapter director of BNI Huntingdon, was able to conduct the local chapter meeting from an internet cafe in Calcutta.
Bob was on a charity mission to Calcutta but still found time (at 1:15pm local time) to conduct the meeting.

In the wake of the earthquake that struck Christchurch, many area residents experienced turbulent times. To help and encourage struggling BNI members, BNI New Zealand members (mostly SME owners and the self-employed) around the country banded together to pack surprise Christmas hampers full of “love and goodies.”

A two year process results in record transaction
BNI Business Partners in Springfield, Missouri, has set the BNI Mid-America record for largest single closed business transaction from a referral: $22 million! Every month, BNI issues production reports based on the vice president reports for that month. When this number came across our desk, we had to take a double look at it.
