New BNI BH Breakfast Club member Carolin Bennett's mom, Raoul Bennett, helped Ivan get things rolling back in the early days of BNI (the 1980's).  Carolin used to tag along with her to her morning meetings and remembers them vividly.

All grown up and an entrepreneur herself, Carolin realized that it was time to add the same networking and business relationship tools her mother use to grow her business. She contacted the BNI Los Angeles (BNI4Success) office to find a local chapter.

When asked if she ever thought she would follow her mother's BNI footsteps, she replied, "It's wild to now be joining a chapter myself: Second Generation BNIer at work here!"

But she isn't the only one in the LA region. At a recent Power Breakfast, during International Networking Week, BNI Money Makers chapter member David Levy reminded Executive Director Cys Bronner that he came to BNI upon his mother's and brother's suggestion—both are Northern California BNI Members.

   Great Story Carolin & Raoul! I too am a second generation BNI’er. I remember vividly, while still in college in the mid 90’s, going with my Dad to BNI informational meetings. My job was to carry the 12 inch TV which we used to show BNI’s 2 minute video starring Dr. Ivan Misner in a powder blue leisure suit (just kidding, sorry Ivan). Dad & I have been business partners in BNI ever since and I’ve loved every minute of it. Wouldn’t change it for the world.
